As the first quarter of 2021 has drawn to a close, Sensor Tower has delved into the performance of the top tower defense games across the unified platform in Latin America. Here's a snapshot of how these games fared in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.

Plants vs. Zombies™ 2, one of the longstanding favorites, showed steady engagement with downloads peaking at approximately 247K in early January and ending the quarter with nearly 198K. Revenue trends saw a slight decline from about $30K at the end of December to $21K by the end of March. Weekly active users remained robust, starting at 2.75M and experiencing a rise to nearly 2.79M towards mid-February before settling at approximately 2.64M.

The relatively new contender, Rush Royale: Tower Defense TD, experienced a surge in both downloads and active users. The game witnessed its downloads grow from around 30K to over 45K in March, while weekly active users saw an impressive climb from 47K to a peak of 134K in the same period. Revenue also saw an uptick, reaching around $12K mid-March before slightly dropping to nearly $9K.

Ninja Kiwi's Bloons TD 6 maintained a consistent base of weekly active users starting at 13K and peaking at 11K by the quarter's end. Downloads and revenue showed a more variable pattern, with downloads oscillating around the 2K mark and revenue experiencing its highest point at $10K in late March.

Final Fate TD presented a declining trend in both revenue and weekly active users. The game's revenue dropped from approximately $14K to under $1K, while weekly active users decreased from 14K to 5.7K. Downloads were minimal, with no new downloads recorded in early March.

Lastly, Random Dice: Defense from 111% showed a slight decrease in weekly active users, from 20K at the end of December to 12.9K at the close of the quarter. Downloads were modest, peaking at 1.8K in late December and falling to 386 by the end of March. Revenue also saw a downward trend, starting at $3.7K and ending the period at $878.
